White House Soliciting Shutdown Sob Stories

Barack the Terrible wants you to go to whitehouse.gov and whine about how you just can't live anymore because the federal government is shut down:
“How has the government shutdown affected you?”
That's the question posted Thursday at 7:50 p.m. on the White House blog by Nathaniel Lubin, acting director of digital strategy for the Obama administration.
Don’t forget that at the top of the blog, a handy little disclaimer notes that “due to Congress’s failure to pass legislation to fund the government, the information on this web site may not be up to date.”

Let's review here: Barack the Terrible and his merry band of leftists persist in shutting the government down. The executive branch is making decisions about what high-profile, high-visibility locations to specifically target for shutdown -- public monuments visited by aging WWII heroes, clinical trials for kids with cancer etc., national parks etc. -- then they are taking comments from Americans about how they are being affected by the partial government shutdown.

Meanwhile back in D.C. the House Republicans keep sending over bill after bill to the Senate to fund major parts of the government and that demented old bastard Harry Reid refuses to even consider them even as the Democrats complain that the Republicans are keeping the government shut down. Who's keeping the government shut down Harry?

While we can't afford to keep monuments, parks, and the National Institutes of Health open, we've diverted resources to the workers who are scurrying around placing barricades at monuments and parks that have never had barricades before and paying for extra guards to make sure Americans can't have access to their monuments and parks. Private organizations have even offered to fund the operation of some of these monuments and parks during the shutdown but Obama and Reid have refused, just like they have refused House Republican's attempts to fund the government. Now, they are soliciting comments about how Americans are being affected by the partial government shutdown they are going out of their way to force upon us.

Here's an idea: Go to whitehouse.gov and leave your comments about how your life has been affected in the last nearly five years the totalitarian jackass Barack the Terrible has been president.
