Barack the Terrible Tells a an Extra-Large Obama Whopper

Just about one year ago, Barack the Terrible "warned" Syria thusly:
We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other players on the ground, that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized.  That would change my calculus.  That would change my equation.

Q  (ChuckTodd, NBC News)  So you’re confident it’s somehow under — it’s safe?
THE PRESIDENT:  In a situation this volatile, I wouldn’t say that I am absolutely confident.  What I’m saying is we’re monitoring that situation very carefully.  We have put together a range of contingency plans.  We have communicated in no uncertain terms with every player in the region that that’s a red line for us and that there would be enormous consequences if we start seeing movement on the chemical weapons front or the use of chemical weapons.  That would change my calculations significantly.
Now that the terms have become somewhat less than "no uncertain", Barack thinks that if he just lies and claims he didn't say something he did, this will just go away:

"The world set a red line when governments representing 98 percent of the world's population said the use of chemical weapons are abhorrent and passed a treaty forbidding their use, even when countries are engaged in war," he said at a joint news conference with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt on the first day of a four-day trip that includes the G-20 summit in Russia
Ninety-eight percent of the world's population. Boy, that's impressive! So why is Barry having such a difficult time getting international support for his venture into Syria.

So, given this new information, we're supposed to say "we understand, Barack, we were just to stupid to decipher what you really said a year ago about the "red line", Thank you for clarifying you black and white comments about "the red line for us is when we start seeing a bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized" so all us stupid people can understand."

Totalitarian commie lib that he is, Barry apparently thinks that all he has to do is speak and we will all swoon, fall down and kiss his ruling-class ass and go back as we were. That's the way it is in totalitarian regimes: It's the kind of stuff we've come to expect from the likes of Fidel Castro, the formerly alive Hugo Chavez, and Soviet, Russian and China leaders by the scores.

Barry will probably be happy about this. He's always maintained that there is no "American exceptionalism" and that we're no better than any other country. How pleased he must be that we have a lying totalitarian bastard at the helm of this country just like many of our enemies do. And he's the lying totalitarian bastard!
