Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Marries Gay Couple

Wow, what a grand distinction: Ruth Bader Ginsburg becomes the first U.S. Supreme Court Justice to marry a gay couple:

WASHINGTON, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Ruth Bader Ginsburg married a gay couple Saturday, becoming the first U.S. Supreme Court justice to officiate a same-sex wedding.

Ginsburg officiated the marriage of Michael M. Kaiser, president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and John Roberts, an economist, NBC News reported. The ceremony took place in the Washington center's atrium.

Ginsburg and Kaiser are longtime friends, the network said.

A representative of the center said the wedding was "just a ceremony followed by a dinner" with more than 200 people attending.

Ginsburg, 80, voted with the majority in a Supreme Court ruling this summer that people in same-sex marriages are entitled to the same federal benefits enjoyed by heterosexual couples.
Thirteen states and the District of Columbia have legalized same-sex marriages, NBC noted.

Will doesn't this make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? A Supreme Court justice officiating a "gay marriage". 

Recall, this is the radical lefty appointed by William Jefferson the Philanderer in 1993. This woman doesn't believe in Constitutional law which is why she's been known to say that she looks at what the constitutions and laws of other countries say when she is working on a supreme court opinion. She has the greatest founding document in the world to guide her and she'd rather look at what the laws of Botswana or Mozambique say when she is deciding supreme court cases that affect all of us.

What we have here a leftist fruit loop which is one of the reasons she spend last Saturday officiating a "gay" wedding. The woman has been on the court 20 years and still doesn't understand that her job is to interpret how U.S. laws square with the U.S. Constitution. She's 80 years old. Let's hope she decides to stick around until we elect someone as president who won't nominate another lefty fruit loop for the court. Barack Obama already appointed two young lefty fruit loops, Sonia Sotomayor and Elana Kagan. to the court. They will be rendering crazy leftist decisions for years to come. We sure don't need any more like Ginsburg.
